Maegan

Maegan graduated from Lakeland College’s Animal Health Technology program in 2023. Her passion for animal health and welfare began during her time at the Fort McMurray SPCA, where she developed a strong interest in shelter medicine. Throughout her career, she has also developed a passion for emergency medicine and critical care.

Her favourite part of being a veterinary technician is educating and communicating with clients, helping them feel confident in caring for their pets.

Maegan has a Retriever mix named Mochi, and two cats, Mayo and Chia, all adopted from the SPCA. She also has two rescued white tree frogs named Toopy and Binoo! In her free time, Maegan enjoys hiking with Mochi and travelling!
